Hotel Tatran on sale after reconstruction

Hotel Tatran in Velka Lomnica, a popular ski resort in High Tatras, was put up for auction on Monday but attracted no bidders. The hotel, offering 21 apartments and 20 rooms, was renovated in 2007. The owner, Sortec Elektronic, has been trying to sell the property for the last nine year and admits the hotel still needs €150,000 worth of repairs. The asking price in September was €1.8m. It was lowered to €1.7m in the second round of the auction. Trend Reality writes, that in 2005, there were 2,446 hotels on the Slovak market. Today there are 3,724 hotel in Slovakia.
