Sareb expands rental portfolio across Spain

16 November 2016

Sareb, the Spanish government’s so-called bad bank, expanded its rental property portfolio during the first half of the year to 4,558, up from 3,831 at the end of 2015. Residential properties account for 3,900 of the assets, while 675 are dedicated to tertiary use. Sareb is planning to increase the value of its rental properties in the hopes of eventually selling them.
