Ten Czech and Slovak architectural studios submitted proposals for YIT’s redesign of Bratislava’s Cvernovka area. The winner will be announced on Dec. 2. The Slovak-Finnish developer bought the Cvernovka brownfield in Bratislava’s Ružinov district in November 2015. In September, YIT launched an international architecture and urban competition in cooperation with the Slovak Chamber of Architects. The general director of YIT, Milan Murcko, told Trend Reality that the designs submitted in the competition are very diverse, and that transparent evaluation of the different views will help deliver the best solution for the location.
