HSBC loans $330m to acquire 1250 Broadway

HSBC Bank has provided Eyal Ofer’s Global Holdings a $330 million loan for the purchase of 1250 Broadway. Global Holdings bought the building for $565 million. The 721,000 sqf, 39 story office tower changed hands for just over $780 per square foot. Global Holdings bought the building from Jamestown and Murray Hill Properties who paid $310 million for the asset in 2008. The building was 84 percent leased at the time of the sale. The building’s largest tenant, the Visiting Nurse Service of New York, is vacating 320,000 square feet when in order to relocate to SL Green’s 220 East 22nd Street.
