Aquatika, Croatia’s first freshwater aquarium, opened in Karlovac, central Croatia. The opening ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic, local officials and several government ministers.
Aquatika has 25 tanks filled with 5,000 fish that live in Croatian rivers. The investment amounted up to €5m, with €4.89m provided by the EU.
