Forte Partners secured €50m from UniCredit Bank to finance the first phase of its new Bucharest office project, The Bridge. Forte Partners was advised by Reff & Associates, while UniCredit Bank was advised by Tuca Zbârcea & Asociaţii. The scheme is going up in two phases on the former Spicul bread factory site. Bog’Art is the general contractor. Completion is set for September 2017.
“The signing of the financing agreement confirms the project and the confidence it enjoys on the local market,” said Geo Margescu, CEO and founder of Forte Partners. “We have 50 percent of the first phase rented, and we are in advanced discussions for the rest of the building.” Margescu intends to have the project fully leased by the opening.
