The stadium in Pleven is poised to undergo an extensive renovation. The plans were unveiled this week by PM Architecture. Costs are estimated to hit €7.9m with the majority of the funding coming from the owner of the football team OFC Spartak, Ivan Dinov.
The city hopes the Bulgarian Finance Ministry and Sports Ministry will cover the remaining costs. The first phase, Sector A, is expected to cost €4.85m and will be completed by spring 2019.
