The telecom giant Orange is looking for a strategic investor to develop a site it owns in Warsaw’s CBD. The company owns the land and six buildings on corner of Świętej Barbary and Nowogrodzka streets located about 200 meters from the city’s Warsaw central railway station. Originally, Orange had planned to offload the properties one by one. “From our standpoint, securing an investor to take the complex, as a whole, and develop our new technological center…is most optimal,” said Piotr Muszyński, vice-president of Orange Polska.
The property has zoning in place allowing for the development of office, hotel and residential space, which could be an interesting investment target for investors. “We’re increasing our focus on adding a 170 meter tall tower to the concept,” Buchman said. Orange would be a tenant in the new scheme.
