House prices still rising fast in Spain

Housing prices on Spain’s residential market have continued to increase, according to Tinsa, with the average price of unsubsidized homes up 2.4 percent y-o-y in September. The cumulative increase in prices during the first nine months of the year amounts to 2.9 percent. Prices saw the biggest increase in the Balearic and Canary Islands (+4.4 percent) followed very closely by regions along the Mediterranean coast (+4.3 percent). In big cities, prices rose by 2.5 percent in September, according to the latest figures.
