A total of 4,641 buildings were built in Croatia in 2015, down 6.6 percent y-o-y, according to data from the National Bureau of Statistics.
Of the total number of buildings built last year, 3,678, or 79 percent, were residential buildings, and 963, or 21 percent, were non-residential, including 163 transport and communications buildings, 142 industrial buildings and warehouses and 76 wholesale and retail trade buildings. The floor area totaled 1.9 million sqm, up 14.4 percent y-o-y.
