Allianz Real Estate Germany has begun the construction of Haus Friesenplatz at Friesenplatz 2-14 in Cologne, Germany. The construction, planned for completion in summer 2020, will 15,500 sqm of office, residential and commercial space along with 111 parking spaces. One of the tenants already occupying the Allianz property is the fashion boutique Weingarten. Approximately 7,700 sqm of office and retail space is planned to be built in the first phase of construction (due to complet in autumn 2018). The second phase (autumn 2018 to autumn 2020) will see the construction of a further 6,600 sqm of additional office, retail space and premium apartments. The marketing of the office space will be led by JLL Cologne. The architects msm meyer schmitz-morkramer designed the new seven-story building which will be built by the primary contractor, Lang & Cie. Rhein-Ruhr Real Estate AG.
