A subsidiary of Balfour Beatty Investments Inc., Balfour Beatty Campus Solutions, has hired Dan Savoia to act as vice president of development. In his new role, Savoia will be in charge of the company’s development activities, oversee personnel management and offer support in the pursuit of new business opportunities. Savoia joined the firm in 2012, leading many of the company’s student housing projects. Savoia joined the company in 2012 and initially served in the military housing division of sister company Balfour Beatty Communities before transitioning to Campus Solutions. Savoia holds a BA from the University of Pittsburgh and is accredited as a LEED AP by the U.S. Green Building Council.
“Dan has truly been an invaluable team member and has consistently taken on additional projects and responsibility. His knowledge, experience and attitude make him the kind of leader that we need on the team,” Bob Shepko, president of Balfour Beatty Campus Solutions, said in prepared remarks.
