IMF predicts Croatian GDP growth of 1.9%

The Croatian economy is expected to grow by 1.9 percent this year and by 2.1 percent growth in 2017, according to forecasts published by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in its latest World Economic Outlook. IMF expects consumer prices in Croatia will decrease by 1 percent in 2016 but will increase by 0.8 percent in 2017.

The fund predicts Romania’s economy will grow by 5 percent this year, while Turkey’s GDP will increase by 3.3 percent, followed by Poland at 3.1 percent and Bulgaria at 3 percent.
