Robert Bosch is considering investing CZK 2.2bn to expand its manufacturing plant in České Budějovice. A technology center will probably be part of the expansion at a cost of CZK 900m. The German company is planning to create 625 new jobs in České Budějovice, including a staff of 120 for the R&D center. Bosch has applied for incentives totaling 12.5 percent of the investment (CZK 274m). Bosch operates three manufacturing plants and a service center in the Czech Republic and has 8,000 employees.
