Downtown Miami grew 32% since 2010

According to new data provided by the Miami Downtown Development Authority the population of downtown Miami has increased 32 percent since 2010. There are now 88,540 residents with in the DDA area, up 150 percent since 2000. The DDA area ends at 24th Street and excludes Wynwood and Midtown. The report also stated that the average household income is above $110,000, double the national average. It also reveals that more that 50 percent of all residents have some form of college degree.
