Private healthcare provider, Regina Maria has completed the first phase of the expansion of the Ponderas hospital in Bucharest. The investment in the new wing came to 3m. The hospital area was extended from 9,000 sqm to 12,500 sqm.
Ponderas currently has 200 beds and 12 operating theaters. The private health network took over the Ponderas hospital in March this year. Regina Maria currently has a total of 31 locations and 180 partner clinics throughout the country.
