Spanish home sales fall 7.9% in July

Home sales on the Spanish market dropped 7.9 percent y-o-y in July, according to Notaries’ Statistical Information Centre. This is the first decrease report so far this year, according to the center. Apartment sales saw the biggest drop, falling by 10.2 percent y-o-y, with free-price housing falling 10 percent, second hand flats down 8.4 percent and new flats dropping by 22.6 percent. By comparison, sales of single-family homes were up by 0.9 percent.
