Jaguar Land Rover picks New Jersey building for new HQ

Jaguar Land Rover North America has signed a lease to take the entire office building at 1 Sharp Plaza in Mahwah, N.J. for the company’s new North American Headquarters. The automaker will also construct a 30,000 sqf state of the art training center as well as the 147,000 sqf office building. The site is located adjacent to Route 17 and Route 287, and is close to the New York state border and the New York State Thruway. The tenant was represented by JLL brokers. Building owner, The Becker Organization, was represented in-house by founder and CEO Bryan Becker.

“Jaguar Land Rover plans to open a state-of-art facility at 1 Sharp Plaza that will showcase its products,” said David Stifelman, JLL. “The new complex will house the luxury automobile manufacturer’s North American headquarters as well as a dealership training and technical center. In addition, Jaguar Land Rover intends for the site to become the ultimate consumer experience facility.”
