WoodSpring Hotels plans four new Florida sites

Extended-stay hotel brand, WoodSpring Hotels, has announced plans to build four new properties in Florida, including one in Naples. The Kansas-based company will partner with Gold Coast Premier Properties to develop all four sites includes three on the east coast of Florida, in Miramar, Tamarac and West Palm Beach. WoodSpring Hotels operates more than 200 hotels across the country. The company owns 90 hotels and provides management services for both company-owned and franchised locations under the WoodSpring Suites and Value Place brands.

“Florida has been an exceptionally strong and active market for our company owned assets,” says Ron Burgett, WoodSpring executive vice president of franchise development and operations, in a statement. “Its demographics, growth and tourism make it one of the strongest extended-stay markets in America. We look forward to expanding our franchisee partnership in Florida with Gold Coast.”
