Starbucks, in partnership with AmRest, opened a cafe at Mercur Center Craiova. This is the company’s first coffee shop in Romania’s Oltenia region. The cafe is located on the shopping center’s ground floor, near the main entrance, and includes an outdoor terrace.
“We are happy that we opened the first Starbucks cafe in Craiova, knowing the desire of its inhabitants to have a brand they love nearby,” said Eva Simon, Starbucks’ district manager. Starbucks entered the Romanian market in 2007 with the opening of its first Bucharest cafe. Starbucks now operates 22 coffee shops in Romania.
