Moldova’s GDP totaled €7.057bn in the second quarter of 2016, up 1.8 percent y-o-y, according to the latest statistics.
GDP growth was driven by retail and motor vehicle and motorcycle repair and maintenance (16 percent), mining and manufacturing (12.9 percent), agriculture, forestry and fisheries (6.6 percent), IT and communications (5.6 percent) professional, transport (5 percent) and scientific and technical activities (2.2 percent).
