Ryan A. Zanin has been elected to the Board of Directors for Fannie Mae and was appointed to the Risk Policy and Capital Committee and the Strategic Initiatives and Technology Committee. Zanin has over 30 years of experience in financial services specializing in risk management and is currently the president and CEO of the Restructuring, Strategic Ventures, and Insurance Group at GE Capital. Prior to joining GE Capital, Zanin served as Managing Director and Chief Risk Officer, International Capital Markets, at Wells Fargo & Company, and as Chief Risk Officer, Corporate and Investment Bank at Wachovia Corporation. Zanin is a Chartered Financial Analyst and graduated from the Institute of Canadian Bankers and the Canadian Securities Institute.
