Equus Capital Partners has closed on the sale of 242 and 248 Chapman Road in Newark, Delaware for $15.55 million. The two building office portfolio consists of 242 Chapman Road, a three-story, 65,967 sqf office building and 248 Chapman Road, a two-story, 77,974 sqf office building. Both buildings were 100 percent leased at the time of the sale by two long-term tenants. Equus Capital Partners was represented by NGKF Capital Markets team comprising Mike Margolis, Dave Dolan and Brett Segal. “The portfolio benefits from the long-term tenancy of KBR, an international engineering firm,” stated Mike Margolis, NGKF said. “As a deep-rooted vendor of DuPont, the location provides KBR easy access to DuPont’s many Delaware locations. The open floor plates are also well-suited to their engineering use.”
