The Miami City Commission has approved Moishe Mana’s proposed mixed-use complex in the Miami neighborhood of Wynwood. The 9.72 million square foot project is located on a 23.5 acre site at Northwest 22nd Street to Northwest 24th Street between Interstate 95 and Northwest 2nd Avenue. The plans call for 3,482 residential units, along with a mix of office, retail, art galleries, exhibition and museums space and a conference center. The scheme also includes a significant amount of open space and civic uses, including a new city fire station. The first scheduled component to be built is a 243,982 sqf mixed-use building with plans for it to be leased by Luxury Brand Partners.
“Today’s unanimous vote by the City of Miami to approve the entire Mana Wynwood Special Area Plan was an important first step in realizing our shared vision to increase business diversity in South Florida by making Wynwood and the surrounding area a global center for the arts and trade,” stated Moishe Mana. “We now turn our focus to the most difficult part – the execution of our dream for Miami and all of South Florida, including the exciting work of building the cultural infrastructure needed to secure partners in art, fashion, technology and an international trade center to grow Miami into one of the great global cities.”
