Croatia’s exports increased by 3.4 percent y-o-y to approximately тВм5.82bn in the first six months of 2016, while imports were up by 4.1 percent to тВм9.6bn, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
The trade deficit was тВм3.78bn for the period, up 5.3 percent y-o-y. Exports to the EU increased by 2.9 percent in H1, while imports from the EU rose by 5.5 percent. Germany, Italy and Slovenia remain Croatia’s most important trading partners.
