US engineering company Dana is planning to build a gear factory in Győr, western Hungary. The 13,000 sqm facility will support regional customers’ sourcing initiatives and technology strategies. Construction work is set to begin in the first quarter of 2017, with completion scheduled for 2020. The company will invest €46m in the new facility and will receive a non-refundable cash grant from the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency.
