The Czech government hopes to start construction on a missing section of the Prague ring road, connecting the D1 motorway to Běchovice, before the end of 2019. Section 511 does not yet have a planning permit and it will have to pass another EIA assessment since its old one is not longer valid under new EU regulations. However, Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka said the government has set up a work group with Prague administration and hopes to have all necessary documentation prepared by February.
