Job vacancy rate in Macedonia at 1.38% in Q2

Macedonia’s job vacancy rate in the second quarter was 1.38 percent, according to the State Statistical Office. The job vacancy rate was highest in the accommodation and food service sectors (3.66 percent). The lowest rate (0.10 percent) was reported for jobs related to electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply.

Businesses with 10 to 49 employees posted the highest job vacancy rate (1.88 percent). The southeast region of the country had the highest job vacancy rate at 2.30 percent.
