IMI to open factory in southern Serbia

Integrated Micro-electronics Inc. (IMI) is planning to open a factory in Niš, southern Serbia.

Construction will start early next year. The investment will be made through IMI Europe, which leads the group’s European operations.

The total investment in the factory over the next 10 years is expected to reach €30m. IMI intends to employ around 1,250 people at the factory.
