Budapest Airport is planning to build a new 13,000 sqm logistics base for DHL Express. Preparation work on the site has already begun and will be handed over to the Hungarian construction company Market Építő Zrt. in September. Completion is set for July 2017. The new facility is expected to create 300 new jobs. The cost of the investment is €25m. It is the second large-scale investment by the Deutsche Post DHL Group in recent years.
