Czech Railways extends discounts on Prague-Košice line

17 August 2016

Czech Railways has decided to prolong its 25-percent summer discount on its Prague-Košice route, according to sme.sk. České dráhy, the Czech national train operator, decided to prolong the holiday discount, pointing to the fact that Slovakia is the most popular foreign tourist destination for Czechs. The step has made prices offered by the three train operators active on the Prague-Košice line more competitive. Czech Railways sells tickets for CZK 276, while Leo Express charges CZK 279, and RegioJet is the most expensive at CZK 280. Prices for the Prague-Bratislava line will remain the same, with passengers charged CZK 414 per ticket.
