Petards win Bombardier contract

16 August 2016

Surveillance and security systems provider Petard has announced that it has won the GBP 1.3m contract to supply Bombardier with eyeTrain systems. Petard will provide the Canadian aerospace and transportation engineering company with this system, which to be used for recording activities within the Aventra Electrical Multiple Unit (EMU) trains in London’s overground train network. It’s the second contract this year that Petards has won with Bombardier. The first contract, signed in July, ensures that Petards will supply eyeTrain saloons and Driver Only Operation (DOO) systems into Bombardier’s new fourcar Electrostar EMU trains.
