Macedonia’s export volume increased 3.9 percent y-o-y between January and June, according to preliminary data published by the State Statistical Office. The import volume for the same six-month period also grew by 4.5 percent y-o-y. The country’s biggest trade partners in the first six months of the year were Germany, the UK, Serbia, Greece and Italy.
Exported products included supported catalysts with precious metal or precious metal compounds as the active substance, ignition wiring sets, ferro-nickel and clothes. Imported products, meanwhile, included platinum and platinum alloys, petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals and electricity.
