Strabag has won tender to revitalize a rail track between Zastávka u Brna and Okříšky near Jihlava. The order includes the repair of a 46 km railway section. Strabag offered to complete the project for CZK 938m. The national railway manager, Správa železniční dopravní cesty, hopes the repair will increase both speed and safety on the track and at the crossings. The reconstruction should shave 15 minutes off the current two-hour journey between Brno and Jihlava. Strabag will also modernize the railway stations in Třebíč, Vysoké Popovice and Vladislav.
