After an auction of the historical Invalidovna complex in Prague 8 failed to attract bidders, the National Conservation Institute (NPÚ) announced it is interested in taking over the monument. NPÚ would like to start takeover negotiations with the Czech Culture Ministry next week. The institute plans to open the building to the public. The complex may also accommodate conservation officials working for Územní památková správa. The city of Prague has offered to contribute grant money to finance the reconstruction of the historical complex.
