Tourism is up in Bulgaria with 15 percent more visitors to the country between January and June than the previous year, according to Tourism Minister Nikolina Angelkova. During the six-month period the tourist volume hit 3.1 million.
This has been the most successful year for the country’s tourism industry since 1998, according to Angelkova.
