Berkshire Group has hired industry veteran Brian Murdy as managing director, head of portfolio management. In his new role, Murdy will be in charge of portfolio performance reporting and portfolio management. Prior to joining Berkshire, Murdy was working as SVP and national director of investment sales for Institutional Property Advisors, a multifamily brokerage division of Marcus & Millichap. He has also worked as a portfolio manager with Cornerstone Real Estate Advisors and Henderson Global Investors and has accounting experience with DiSanto Bertoline and KPMG. Murdy holds a B.S. degree in accounting from the Central Connecticut State University and is a certified public accountant in the state of Connecticut.
