The Chinese company CITIC Group is interested in investing $100m in an aluminium car wheels plant in Ruse, northern Bulgaria.
The new plant will create 300 jobs and comply with the European Union’s environmental standards, the Bulgarian government said in a statement. The news follows a recent meeting Prime Minister Boyko Borisov held with a Chinese business delegation, which included CITIC Group President Wang Jiong, in Sofia.
