Slovak investments reach €310m in first half of 2016

21 July 2016

Total investment in commercial real estate in Slovakia reached €310m for the first six months of 2016, with deals taking place in the retail, office and industrial sectors, according to JLL. Among the transactions it lists as having concluded are the sale of the 36,000 sqm Central Shopping Center sold by Immocap to Allianz Real Estate (€175m). Blackstone also entered Slovakia through its Logicor fund by buying LogCenter Nove Meso from Immofinanz. Another industrial deal was the sale by HV Reavis of its 130,000 sqm warehouse portfolio.

“The number of deals and investment volume are expected to outperform last year’s levels as we still feel positive about the investment climate in the rest of 2016,” said Miroslav Barnaš. “Market entrants as well as already established local and international players are expected to further increase their exposure.”
