Approximately €540m in deals changed hands on the Czech commercial property market in the second quarter, according to the latest figures published by BNP Paribas Real Estate. Investment activity increased by 54 percent y-o-y and 26 percent q-o-q, with shopping center deals accounting for almost half of the total.
The transaction volume for the first six months of the year totaled €970m, according to the data. Lenka Šindeláøová, head of consulting at BNP Paribas Real Estate, said a number of transactions exceeded €100m are expected to close by the end of the year.
