An increasing interest associated with favorable mortgages and an improved economic position has prompted a rise in prices of apartments in the Slovak capital. The second quarter of 2016 was on of the strongest in Bratislava in terms of apartment sales in new buildings with 1,245 apartments bring sold during this period. In comparison to the previous quarter, the sales increased by 40 percent. The average price per sqm is at a record breaking EUR 2,373. The trend of new buyers shows that their interest is in smaller apartments.
