Macedonian women earn 10.3 percent less than men, according to a recent report published by the Macedonian statistics office. Women net €1.67 less than every €16.20 earned by men.
The highest pay gap can be found in agriculture, where women earn 31 percent less than men. The lowest pay gap is in the financial sector, where women earn only 1 percent less than men, according to the report.
