Amazon is planning to open a new 60,000 sqm logistics center in El Prat de Llobregat, near Barcelona, in fall 2017. The e-commerce giant expects total costs will hit €200m. The center will create 1,500 new jobs within three years of its opening. The property will be Amazon’s second largest warehouse in Spain, after its complex in San Fernando de Henares in Madrid, which it acquired in 2012.
