Hyatt will build a five-star hotel on the site of the former Serdika hotel and cinema complex in the Bulgarian capital, Sofia. The investment is expected to amount to €30m. Construction will be carried out in partnership with the Bulgarian company Terra Tour Service and is due to start this autumn.
The 7-storey hotel will have 190 rooms and suites, a large conference center with a 600 sqm ballroom, additional event rooms totalling 1,200 sqm along with a spa center, restaurants and two bars, one of which will be on the roof of the building.
