The Catalan-based property developer Vertix is planning to develop a 90-room aparthotel and a 4,000 sqm shopping center on 23 ha of land in Stiges along the coast of Spain. The site also includes 80 plots for single-family homes, 60 of which belong to Vertix. The other investor is a small land owners’ consortium, according to local news reports. Vertix intends to lease the aparthotel to an external company specializing in short-term rentals. The plots will be either sold undeveloped, or buyers can chose to have Vertix build a 300 sqm house with a garden and swimming pool. Houses will be sold for €900,000.
