The job vacancy rate on the Macedonian market was 1.38 percent in the first three months of the year, according to data published by the State Statistical Office.
At 2.66 percent, the construction sector posted the highest job vacancy rate for the quarter, while the lowest rate was registered in public administration and defence sectors (0.12 percent). Companies with between 10 and 49 employees posted highest job vacancy rate (1.84 percent). The southeast region registered a job vacancy rate of 2.21 percent, the highest in the country.
