Unemployment rate in Romania stabilizes in April

The unemployment rate on the Romanian market remained stable at 6.4 percent in April, according to the National Statistics Institute.

The unemployment rate for men was 1.9 percentage points higher than for women. The number of unemployed (aged 15-74 years) estimated for April stood at 573,000, down from 633,000 the previous year.
