Construction permits for residential projects on the Romanian market were up 11.5 percent y-o-y in April, according to a report published by the National Statistics Institute.
Of the 3,740 permits issued in April, 67.9 percent were for rural areas, up 12 percent compared to March. In the first four months of this year, 11,017 construction permits for residential buildings were issued, up 4.6 percent from the previous year.
