Activity in Urban Rehabilitation rises 3.3% in March compared to the same period of 2015. According to the monthly survey of companies active in urban renewal conducted by AICCOPN, there was a 3.3 percent increase in activity, far lower than the booming growth recorded in February (23.5 percent). One new project that should be added to the list of investment underway is the re-development of the Aquaparque Lisbon, which has been closed since 1993. The plan is now to open it to the public as a garden along with a local BBQ restaurant and coffee shop. Councilman José Sá Fernandes did not disclose the date of reopening and the amount of investment but said it would produce some of its own power through the installation of a solar panel.
