CTP started clearing in Vlněna area in Brno. The company plans to redevelop the enormous brownfield site into a modern office complex, including a smaller residential component. Construction should start next year. Revitalization of the former textile factory is expected to take up to 12 years, according to the developer, which plans to keep only two of the historical buildings in the area including the neo-renaissance Bochner palace. CTP plans to build a total of 82,000 sqm of modern office on 4 ha of land, with the pace of work expected to match the level of demand for space.
